Julane Whipple has taught grant writing courses for Oklahoma State University and the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA). For decades, she has helped educators identify funding sources and secure grant awards in excess of $8 million. Her grant writing experience ranges from small local grants to large federal projects over $1 million.
John Ferrara has been a member of the Reading Plus Research Department since 2012. He began his career as a middle school math teacher. Later, while working on graduate degrees, John transitioned to the Vermont Department of Education where he helped implement Vermont's first statewide assessment program and became the Assistant Director of Assessment and Accountability. He would later become the lead project coordinator for a consortium of Vermont school districts who built a statewide educational data warehouse.
